Wood chipper with calibrator is a modern automated complex for industrial processing of wood into high-quality calibrated chips. The equipment combines a powerful wood chipper and drum calibration screens, which allows you to obtain a homogeneous fraction of chips for smoking, production of pellets, briquettes, compost and other types of biofuels.

The chip production complex with calibration was developed by F-Z Ukraine, Lviv, for enterprises in the woodworking industry, farms, fuel pellet manufacturers, smokehouses and organic fertilizer production. The system provides fast, continuous and efficient wood processing with automatic separation of chips into separate fractions.

The basis of the complex is an industrial wood chipper with a capacity of 30 kW, which effectively processes roundwood, branches and wood waste into chips. Next, the material enters drum calibration screens, which automatically sift the chips and divide them into two main fractions:

5–8 mm;
10–15 mm.

Such chip calibration is especially important for the production of chips for smoking, since a uniform fraction ensures stable combustion and high-quality smoke generation. In addition, calibrated chips are widely used in the production of fuel pellets and briquettes, as well as in biomass heating systems.
