DK series 2in1 wood chipper from F-Z Ukraine – disc-drum type crushing complex for effective processing of wood waste into fine sawdust fraction 2–5 mm. The equipment is intended for woodworking enterprises, manufacturers of fuel pellets and briquettes, furniture factories, sawmills and industries that work with large volumes of wood and require high-quality crushing of raw materials.

DK wood chipper combines the functions of a chipper and a hammer crusher, which allows you to perform wood crushing in two stages without using additional equipment. The complex effectively processes branches, sawdust, boards, shavings, logs and other wood waste into ready-made sawdust for granulation, briquetting or burning in solid fuel boilers.

The DK wood chipper is capable of processing:

round logs with a diameter of up to 200 mm;
boards with a width of up to 230 mm;
branches and wood trimmings;
sawmill and woodworking waste.

The first stage of crushing is performed by a disk mechanism with three knives and a counter knife. The disk with a diameter of 800 mm and a thickness of 40 mm operates at a speed of 1000 rpm, ensuring effective crushing of large fragments of wood. Next, the material enters the drum hammer block with 86 hammers and 22 counter knives, where it is finally crushed into fine, uniform sawdust of a fraction of 2–5 mm.

The DK crushing complex is equipped with a modern hydraulic material feed system. The loading hopper has two tightening rollers with teeth, each of which is equipped with a separate hydraulic drive and a stress-shock system. The oil flow control system with pressure compensator allows you to precisely adjust the feed rate of the raw material depending on its type and humidity.

A feature of the DK model is an automated control system with a control panel and automatic voltage and hydraulic regulator. The finished sawdust is unloaded pneumatically through a cyclone, which ensures the cleanliness of the production process and efficient material removal.
